INDIO, CA - There was plenty of eye candy at the 2008 Stagecoach Country Music Festival held here this weekend, making this festival worth the price of admission even without the shows. The afternoon sun baked the crowd at the Mane Stage as Bucky Covington impressed everyone with his rendition of Pink Floyd's hit, "The Wall.? Not something you'd expect to hear at a Country Western redneck bash, but the audience sang along with their cowboy hats on. My husband and I were impressed by the young North Carolina heart throb, and thought he performed better than the headliner, Rascal Flatts, who sounded flat. Perhaps when she matures, so will her music and her humility. The Judd's, on the other hand, stole the show Saturday night. There were a true listening treat, mother and daughter singing in Perfect Harmony. Naomi, 62-years old, looked 42 from our front and center, second row seats. And Wynona voice was simply incredible, especially when compared to Swift. How can you keep up with a legend and superstar when you're only 18. Rascal Flatts sounded like a garden variety Country Western band, and should not have been the headliner Saturday.
