11 ADVICE
Hubby will never change
Q: My boyfriend, who I have been with for three years, has started abusiness out of our house. He has never been the most reliable person, nor has he been able to keep a job. But he started this business that he is passionate about, and the government is helping him with money. In some ways, Ithink it's an excuse not to go to work. But then Ithink maybe it will boom. Iam33with two kids, and Ialready feel like Iamwasting my life. Do you see this business taking off? -R A: Idon't feel that your boyfriend starting a business is an excuse to not return to work, and Idobelieve that he wants to try and make his dream of being self-employed come true. The concern is that his motivation to get things done everyday may wane. If you see his productivity declining as soon as the end of June, know that the new business will be ashort-term venture. Q: Iamwriting to you because Ifeel quite desperate. Ihave three children, have been married for 20 years and yet feel so alone. My husband comes from astrict cultural background and does not communicate with me, but treats his children more than wonderful.

PSYCHIC ADVICE He is often quite rude to me, and when Iamupset, he leaves me totally alone. Does my husband actually love me and is he faithful? Idolove him, but I've never been so upset. I have succumbed to drinking to ease the feelings. -Desperate and lonely A: Unfortunately Idon't have avery positive forecast for your marriage. Your husband may be acandidate for the father-of-theyear award, but he certainly has to learn a few things when it comes to respecting his women. You will not see his behaviour changing either, because with him it's every bit as personal as it is cultural. Idon't sense any infidelity on his part, but there is definitely a growing risk of an alcohol problem for you if you don't get some relief. The time for correcting the marriage has past the best you can do now is move on and find happiness with someone else. Daily Affirmation Negativity creeps up and takes over your life if you allow it to grow. -Miki is aprofessional psychic. For information call (416) 537-5955 or visit www.askmiki.ca.
